OLYMPIC MEDALIST – WATER POLO RACING

Brandon was born in Rock Island, IL. In 1989 Brandon Brook’s family moved to Hawai’i when
he was 8 years old.

Brandon attended Lili’uokalani Elementary School and then attended Punahou School,
excelling in water polo. Upon graduation in 1999, he attended the University of California at
Los Angeles (UCLA) and served as goalkeeper for four years on the Water Polo team. Brandon
was a four-time All-American selection and captured the NCAA championship in 1999 and
2000.

In 2003, Brandon was the goalie for Team USA at the Pan-American games where they won
the championship. Playing on the USA Water Polo team in the 2004 Olympics in Athens,
Greece, the team placed 7th. Then at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, Team USA fell to
Hungary 14-10 in the championship match, and Brandon earned an Olympic Silver Medal.

Brandon has been the head coach for UCLA’s Women’s Water Polo Team for the past 6 years
and has compiled a 152-34 record during his first six seasons. He’s lead UCLA to three MPSF
(Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) titles (2010, 2012, 2015).
